Industrial and warehousing areas in Maharashtra
Maharashtra’s MIDC industrial areas cover most of the state. Around Pune, the automobile and engineering belt runs through Chakan, Talegaon, Ranjangaon and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Bhiwandi, north-east of Mumbai, is one of the country’s largest warehousing hubs, and Taloja and the area around JNPA (Nhava Sheva) port serve Navi Mumbai. Further east are Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Waluj, Shendra and AURIC), Nashik (Satpur, Ambad and Sinnar) and Nagpur, with MIHAN and Butibori.
Site conditions in Maharashtra
The southwest monsoon from June to September is the main constraint: Mumbai and the Konkan coast get very heavy rain, so external slabs and open sites are best programmed outside those months or properly protected. Vidarbha, around Nagpur, has some of India’s hottest summers, with May temperatures often above 45°C, which calls for hot-weather concreting and careful curing. IS 456 calls for at least 7 days of moist curing for ordinary Portland cement concrete and at least 10 days where blended cements or mineral admixtures are used, extended in hot, dry weather.

Floor specifications we plan for in Maharashtra
A VDF (Trimix) floor is only as good as its specification and the way it is executed. Before quoting we confirm:
- Slab thickness, concrete grade and reinforcement, taken from the structural design for the racking, forklift and machine loads
- Surface finish — a power-trowelled VDF finish, with dry-shake floor hardener where abrasion is high
- Levels and flatness, checked during finishing, with tighter tolerances agreed for high-bay racking aisles
- Joint layout — saw-cut contraction joints at planned spacing, construction joints at bay edges, and filling or sealing once the slab has shrunk
- Curing method and period, agreed before the pour so the floor is not loaded too early
How a Maharashtra flooring project runs
Send the site location, approximate area, building type and any drawings or BOQ. We review them, visit or survey the site where needed, and send a written quotation with the scope, specification and programme.
Maharashtra projects are mobilised from our Hyderabad base, so we lock pour dates and site readiness before travel. On site, our team handles placing, vacuum dewatering, power floating and trowelling, joint cutting and curing as one sequence, and the floor is handed over after the agreed curing period.
